Dr. Kapil Mohan is an Adult and Paediatric Spine Surgeon based in Thane, India. After successfully completing his medical degree from Seth G.S.Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai he went on to complete his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery and DNB (Orthopaedics) followed by extensive experience from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. He then worked for three years at Division of Spine Surgery, Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Mohan has a lot of international experience as well; including training at world renowned institutions like the Twin Cities Spine Center, USA; Clinical Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery at Singapore General Hospital, Singapore; AO Spine fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital,

Adelaide, Australia; Clinical fellowship in adult & paediatric spine at Royal Adelaide Hospital and Womens & Childrens Hospital, Adelaide, Australia and more than a year at the prestigious Childrens' Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia before relocating to Mumbai.

He is one of the very few spine surgeons in India who has undergone specialised training in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery and Paediatric deformity correction surgeries from internationally acclaimed institutes and surgeons.

During his training and later Dr. Mohan has been actively involved in academic activities and research. He has a number of publications in international peer reviewed journals and has presented papers in major international conferences. He was also awarded the Best Paper Award by Association of Spine Surgeons of India in 2011 for his paper on 'Drug resistance patterns in Tuberculosis Spine'.

Dr. Mohan believes in holistic patient care and individualises the care plan as per each patients' specific problems and needs. Being a skilled surgeon, he also understands the need and importance of non- surgical interventions and patients' involvement in the recovery and treatment.
